Leinster fly-half Johnny Sexton was delighted with their victory in the Champions Cup final but admitted that the job has not been finished.

The Irish province secured their fourth top-tier European trophy after Isa Nacewa’s late penalty gave them a 15-12 triumph over Racing 92 in Bilbao.

It has been a remarkable season for Irish rugby with the national team winning the Grand Slam and Leo Cullen’s men taking the Champions Cup title.

Cullen’s charges are also in contention in the PRO14 and Sexton is looking for more success when they take on rivals Munster in the last four.

“I’m so happy but we’ve got a big game next week, and hopefully we’ll get to another final. Then it’s on to Australia, so one last push to make it that dream season,” he said.

Despite having that determination to claim a clean sweep, Sexton says that Leinster will savour the moment they became one of the most successful sides in European history.

He added: “If you told me at the start of the year that you’d go unbeaten and win the Grand Slam with Ireland and win the European title, I’d have bitten your hand off.

“Look, it’s a long journey and you have to make the most of this moment. So yeah, we’re going to celebrate. These are pretty special moments.

“The week is what it is, we know what’s in front of us, but a lot of people deserve to celebrate this and we’ll turn the page when we need to.”
