Brazilian flyweight mixed martial artist Allan Nascimento has passed away at the age of 34 after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep. According to the UFC, emergency responders were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday morning.

In an official statement, the organization extended its deepest condolences to Nascimento's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones.

Nascimento had been competing under the UFC banner since 2021. His final Octagon appearance took place in June, where he suffered a close split-decision loss to Mitch Raposo. He concludes his professional mixed martial arts career with an overall record of 22 wins and 7 losses, including a 4-2 mark within the UFC.
