Marty’s vast collection of country music memorabilia is one of the biggest in country music. It has been featured at the Tennessee State Museum, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and pieces are regularly loaned by Marty to the Country Music Hall of Fame for exhibits. In 1997, Marty Stuart married Connie Smith. As Stuart (17 years Connie’s junior) first met Connie when he was just 12-years-old, during a photo-op at one of Smith’s concerts! Stuart swore that he would one day marry his celebrity crush— and he did!
