Mariah Carey is determined to squeeze every conceivable drop out of her utterly ubiquitous festive hit ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, announcing that a new CGI-animated movie will be based on the song.

The diva herself unveiled a teaser clip for the upcoming animated feature and is due to hit cinemas later in 2017.

The movie’s plot apparently expands on that of Mariah’s children’s book of the same name, which was released back in 2015.

Directed by Guy Vasilovich from a script by Temple Mathews, Carey herself is set to narrate the film as well as hold down an executive production role.
