In 1997, McLachlan founded the concert tour Lilith Fair, which ran from 1997 to 1999 with a sporadic return in 2010. The Lilith Fair tour consisted mainly of female solo artists and female-led bands. During the tour’s initial three years, it raised more than $10 million for women’s charities throughout North America.
