149 vintage Bob Dylan acetates were found in a New York City apartment where the folk legend once stayed.

The items, unearthed by collector Jeff Gold, come from the sessions for 1969's Nashville Skyline and 1970's Self Portrait and New Morning.

Dylan rented space at 124 Houston St. and apparently left the recordings there when he moved out.

"This is unprecedented, The sound quality is unbelievably great. These are first generation recordings, cut directly from the master tape."

Gold says that he is keeping many of the acetates, but "offering some of these truly unique discs via Record Mecca."

The one of a kind items are priced between $1,750 and $7,000.
