Rod Stewart has joined Instagram and added, in his first post, a pic of his legendary hair.

"Good hair days. Bad hair days. I'll be here," he wrote in the caption.

It's not the only recent social media activity from Rod, as, on the last day of his Vegas residency at The Colosseum.

He invited his 227,000 Twitter followers to join him at Gordon Ramsay's pub at Caesars Palace for a drink.

The next day he posted a picture of himself surrounded by smiling fans at the pub.

"A superb ending to a triumphant @CaesarsPalace run. Thanks to my mates for joining me for a celebratory pint after," he enthused.
