David Bowie has released a version of "Holy Holy," one that has been unavailable since 1971, when it was released as a single.

The cut is a preview off Bowie's massive upcoming box set Five Years 1969-1973.

The single was recorded with the members of Blue Mink in November 1970 following the completion of The Man Who Sold The World sessions.

A faster version of the track appeared on the B-side of Bowie's Diamond Dogs in 1974.

The set is due September 25. It is promised as the "first in a series of boxed sets spanning his career."
