Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is reportedly in talks to star in a reboot of the 1980s classic "Big Trouble in Little China.

" The "San Andreas" star has already signed on to produce the picture alongside Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.

Johnson would likely star in the leading role as Jack Burton, a trucker who gets stranded in Chinatown and finds himself in battle between supernatural, good and evil.

Kurt Russell starred in the original film opposite Kim Cattrall, who played one of several women kidnapped by a sorcerer.

John Miller directed the original 1980s smash amidst a career high of hits including "The Thing" and "Escape from New York."

The new film will be written by "Thor" and "X-Men: First Class" writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz.
