Brian Wilson, the subject of a new biopic called Love & Mercy, says that watching the film has brought back "some good memories and some lousy memories," according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
"LSD was very, very . . . not a good drug," Wilson said, explaining some of his behavior. "It was very hallucinatory, causes auditory hallucinations. And, it's just a screwed-up drug."
He added that, for the most part, he liked the picture, but is "very concerned" about the reactions from his Beach Boys bandmates, should they see it.
Love & Mercy stars Paul Dano as a young Brian and John Cusack as an older Brian.
The film also features Elizabeth Banks as Wilson's wife Melinda and Paul Giamatti as Eugene Land, the psychiatrist credited with helping Wilson through his darkest times.
