Elvis Presley will appear on a new Forever postage stamp.

The stamp will be unveiled at a future date and will have a dedication ceremony on August 12 at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, according to an official USPS statement.

The stamp image will be available to preview at a later date; meanwhile, fans are encouraged to spread the word on social media using the hashtag "#ElvisForever."

Presley is the sixth musician to be featured in the postal service's "music icons" series, which launched in 2013.

The musicians previously featured are Johnny Cash, Lydia Mendoza, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.

The U.S. Postal Service launched the "Music Icon" series as a tribute to "beloved musicians whose blends of sound and way of life broke musical boundaries."

Elvis also appeared on a stamp in 1993.
