Rolling Stones Release Alternate Version Of 'Brown Sugar' Featuring Eric Clapton

The Rolling Stones have posted a new version of "Brown Sugar," an alternative take that features Eric Clapton.

According to a new press release, the version was recorded in December 1970 at a London studio during a birthday party for Keith Richards, the version features piano work from Al Kooper in addition to Clapton.

The alternative version of "Brown Sugar" will be featured on the band's reissue of their 1971 studio album Sticky Fingers.

"Brown Sugar" is just the latest in a series of releases off of the upcoming reissue, a list that includes an acoustic version of "Wild Horses," an alternate take of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" and an extended version of "B***h."

The reissue of Sticky Fingers arrives in stores on June 9.
