Paul McCartney, for many years an avid pot smoker, says that he no longer uses the drug. He said he's too old for use nowadays.

"I don't do it any more. Why? The truth is I don't really want to set an example to my kids and grandkids.

It's now a parent thing."

He said in the past his kids were younger and not so aware of his behavior.

"Back then I was just some guy around London having a ball, and the kids were little so I'd just try and keep it out of their faces."

Macca, 72, added that he now prefers a glass of wine to a puff of weed.
