Paul McCartney's Lollapalooza set time has been announced, as organizers say that the former Beatle will take over the Samsung stage of the festival on Friday, July 31 at 7:45 p.m.

Organizers also announced that Metallica will light up the same stage on the following day, Saturday, August 1 at 8 p.m.

Other acts destined for Lollapalooza include Florence + the Machine, Sam Smith, Tyler the Creator, Gary Clark, Alabama Shakes, Bassnectar, the Weeknd, Alt-J, Of Monsters and Men, Kid Cudi, TV on the Radio, Tame Impala, the War on Drugs, and many more.

Lollapalooza 2015 will be held in Chicago's Grant Park. The fest runs from July 31 to August 2.

This year marks the fest's 10th year as a destination event in Chicago.
