A photo of Mick Jagger taken and signed by Linda McCartney is expected to sell for £800 at an upcoming auction in Essex.

The Books and Maps sale, which takes place at the Stansted Mountfitchet auction rooms of Sworders' Fine Art Auctioneers on Tuesday, March 31 will feature a collection from Linda Stevens, who is a reporter and critic for the New York Post.

Stevens collection includes the black and white portrait of Jagger, which is one of 150 limited edition prints signed by McCartney in pencil.

"We have some incredibly exciting material being sold in this auction from some important collections.

To have so many iconic pieces in one sale is very unusual," Sworders' managing director Guy Schooling said.
