Rod Stewart is not making the leap into reality television according to his publicist, who has vehemently denied rumors to the contrary.

Rumors has it that Stewart was planning on filming a new reality series based around his life and his family.

"Stewart has reportedly begun filming a family-based reality show for E!, according to the Mirror, "just as Ozzy Osbourne did before him."

"Rod Stewart is not and will not be filming a reality TV show," Stewart's publicist said.

It was said that shooting on the new series was set to begin in June, and that "Stewart, 70, is said to be doing the series with wife Penny Lancaster, 43, and their two kids, ages 9 and 4.

Grown children from Stewart's first marriage are also apparently going to have "prominent" roles."
