Bob Dylan has released the music video for "The Night We Called It a Day," a cut from his recent covers album, Shadows in the Night.

The vid, directed by Nash Edgerton, features Dylan starring alongside Robert Davi and Tracy Phillips, in what Vanity Fair calls a "fine tribute to film noir."

Consequence of Sound adds that "the black-and-white clip plays out like a piece of '50s film noir, complete with fiendish murder, shocking betrayal, and messy love triangles."
