Journey will perform with an orchestra for the first time ever on June 20, when the band opens the 2015 Hollywood Bowl season alongside Thomas Wilkinsand the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

In addition to the gig at the Hollywood Bowl, Journey will also share the stage for a pair of dates with Styx for the Carnival Live Concert series.

They also have their residency at the Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas during April and May and head out for a run of shows with Tower of Power and the Steve Miller Band in March.

Proceeds from the Hollywood Bowl concert, which also includes a fireworks show, benefit the Los Angeles Philharmonic and its education and community programs that reach more than 120,000 children, teachers and adults every year.

Ed Sheeran, Smokey Robinson and Death Cab for Cutie will also join the orchestra as part of their Special Concerts series this year.
