The retired TV journalist recalled being asked to dinner by the 84 year-old actor over three decades ago, but rejected him: "I said, 'No, I have to work.' You know, I don't mix business with pleasure."

The 84 year-old recently admitting to having a crush on Hollywood star Clint Eastwood that lasted for many years, and is still hoping that a chance of a romance between the pair will happen.


The revelation occurred when Walters appeared on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show'.
