The Kinks' Dave Davies hopes to get the band back together one more time before he dies, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

"It'd be a shame if me and Ray Davies didn't try and do something, but I don't know what we're gonna do," he said.

"I hope we do something before we die, anyway."

Asked about the odds of a tour, Davies responded, "That would be nice, but I think to do just one event somewhere would be good enough for me."

Dave is keeping busy while he waits to put the Kinks back together.

He has a new solo album, Rippin' Up Time, and a new documentary, Rock N' Roll Journey in the works.
