David Bowie has announced the release of a French-language version of his 1977 hit Heroes on limited edition blue vinyl. He'll also drop the 2008 compilation I Select on red vinyl.

The b-side of Heroes features a live version of the song recorded during Bowie's Serious Moonlight Tour in 1983.

I Select features songs from throughout Bowie's career handpicked by Bowie himself. According to a presser, the comp includes songs that Bowie says he "never seems to tire of."

The releases commemorate the opening of the "David Bowie Is" exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris.

The exhibit features 300 objects, including handwritten lyrics, original costumes, film, set designs and Bowie's own instruments.
