Sir Elton John is earning $500,000 for each Las Vegas show.

The 67-year-old singer-songwriter started the ninth leg of his 'The Million Dollar Piano' residency at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace, last week, and is reportedly taking 88% of all ticket sales.

The 'Candle in the Wind' hitmaker has to sign off on all ticket prices, ranging from $55 to $1,000 in the 4,296 seated arena, meaning he is able to increase the amount he earns.
