Sting honored musical legend James Taylor on December 29 when he sang at "54 Sings James Taylor," a celebration of songs made famous by James Taylor.

The former Police frontman treated audience members at the 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. shows to his own rendition of Taylor's "Shower the People," which he attended in between breaks of his Broadway stand in the musical "The Last Ship," based on his own life.

Other guest singers celebrating Taylor at the 54 Below show included Sally Ann Triplett, Nicholas Rodriguez, Charlie Pollock and T. Oliver Reid, among others.
