The members of Jefferson Starship say they plan to honor the members of their predecessor group Jefferson Airplane during their upcoming tour.

Both Paul Kantner and David Freiberg were members of both bands and are still touring regularly with Starship.

On their upcoming dates Starship will cover a selection of Airplane's classics including "Wooden Ships," "Somebody To Love," "White Rabbit" and "Volunteers."

Cathy Richardson will stand in for Grace Slick on vocals.
