Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are among the artists to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when the institution welcomes the 2015 class on April 18.

Jett will be joined at the ceremony by fellow inductees Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Bill Withers, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day and Lou Reed.

Ringo Starr, who was inducted into the HOF with the Beatles in 1988, will receive the Award for Musical Excellence at the event.

"I'm not putting a band together," says Ringo of his plans for the evening. "But if Paul McCartney puts one together, I'll do 'With A Little Help From My Friends.'"
