Taylor Swift rang in her 25th birthday over the weekend, getting a special gift from none other than the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin on Friday.

Both Taylor and Aretha appeared at the Billboard Women in Music event where Taylor was honored as the 2014 Woman of the Year.

She quickly shared her excitement for Aretha's impromptu gift via Twitter.

"Aretha Franklin just sang 'Happy Birthday' to me and it will take me decades to recover. #goals," she wrote via Twitter.

She also joked about the special occasion during her acceptance speech.

"I turn 25 at midnight tonight. And I fully intend on partying like it's 1989," Swift said referencing the title of her hit record.

"I knew it would be a bad joke when I wrote it, but I did it anyway," she added.
