Phil Collins' first performance in four years was canceled because he is suffering from vocal issues.

The concert was scheduled for Miami Beach on Saturday, December 6 to benefit Collins' charity the Little Dreams Foundation.

"Trust me, you wouldn't enjoy it if I sang," Collins said, He added that he did a soundcheck that didn't go over very well.

Tickets cost $120-$380 and no refunds were offered leaving many fans embittered.

"It was a let down for sure, but at least I was in the building and had a chance.

It's tough to see a man that you admire for his talent unable to do something he loves," noted one fan on the Little Dreams Facebook page.

Richard Marx helped fill in for Collins at the show.
