A team from the International Monetary Fund arrives in Sri Lanka today(26) for a visit scheduled through April 9, 2026.

Discussions with local authorities will focus on the combined fifth and sixth reviews of the national reform program under the Extended Fund Facility, according to IMF Mission Chief Evan Papageorgiou.

The mission plans to issue a formal communication upon the conclusion of the visit.
