Welikada Police initiated an inquiry regarding a social media video depicting a youth being assaulted.

The footage shows an individual attacking another young man with a shovel inside a garage located in the Rajagiriya area. The Welikada OIC confirmed to Hiru News that one individual present during the incident was taken into custody last night.

Reports indicate that the son of a popular fashion model was among those involved. Police continue their investigations to identify all parties connected to the event.
