Petroleum sector employees contribute Rs. 16mn to Rebuild Sri Lanka Fund

Employees of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Ceylon Petroleum Terminal Company Limited, and members of the CPC Pensioners’ Association donated a total of Rs. 16 million to the Rebuild Sri Lanka Fund today. (24).

The cheque was presented to the Minister of Energy, Eng. Kumara Jayakody, by CPC Chairman Janaka Rajakaruna and Managing Director Dr. Mayura Netthikumara.

The contributions came from employees voluntarily donating between one and 15 days of their monthly salaries. Minister Jayakody expressed his gratitude to all the employees and the trade unions that encouraged their participation in this initiative.
