Qatar charity provides relief food packs to families in Colombo

As part of the State of Qatar’s humanitarian efforts, the Qatar Charity office in Sri Lanka with funding from the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), distributed 1,800 food packs to families affected by Cyclone Dithwa in Colombo.

The event was attended by the Chargé d' Affaires at the Embassy, Mr. Ali Salem Al-Nuaimi, the Director of Qatar Charity office in Sri Lanka, Mr. Mahmoud Abu Khalifa, and a number of government officials and representatives of civil society in Sri Lanka.
