The Ministry of Health states that 504 medical teams are currently operating across the country to treat individuals affected by disasters.

Issuing a statement, the Ministry mentioned that these teams are performing duties at 1,041 safety centres established nationwide.

Meanwhile, representatives from the Government Medical Officers' Association visited the Chilaw District General Hospital, which was flooded.
