The Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Liyanage, has assured the public that the answer scripts written by students for this year's G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination have suffered no damage from the recent disaster situation and are completely safe.
The Commissioner General stated that all A/L answer scripts are currently housed in the designated secure locations.
Furthermore, the answer script evaluation process is proceeding as scheduled in the areas that were not affected by the disaster.
Liyanage emphasised that all answer scripts are transported to secure locations at the end of every examination day—a rigorous process that has been maintained correctly for years.
She added that the Department is in constant communication with the Disaster Management Centre regarding weather conditions throughout the examination period to ensure maximum security for the scripts.
