Bruce Springsteen has launched a new vertical on his website dedicated to selling official recordings of his live shows.

Brad Serling, CEO of nugs.net, says that, after some convincing, the Boss bought his pitch for the project.

"It was Bruce looking at YouTube and seeing fan-generated content from his recent shows, as well as archival stuff".

"And he was like, 'We can do better than this. We own the masters!' What's great is, he wasn't saying, Take that stuff down.

Screw YouTube.' It was, 'If this is happening, we should be doing it officially.'"

Live Bruce Springsteen, which launched on November 17, features 30 full-concert recordings captured during the High Hopes tour.

The Boss released a box set of his first seven albums on the same day.
