Sir Elton John is set to headline his first solo concert in Los Angeles for the first time in 13 years.

The Tiny Dancer hitmaker hasn't played in Hollywood in over a decade, but he will make a comeback at the end of autumn this year when he plays the Staples Center on 4 October.

The show will be part of his Follow the Yellow Brick Road Tour, in support of the 40th anniversary re-release of his 1973 album of the same name.
