The Rolling Stones are faced with an insurance battle after postponing several Australian gigs earlier this year.
The shows, which were part of the band's 14 On Fire trek, were temporarily axed after the death of Mick Jagger's partner L'Wren Scott.
The Stones are attempting to claim $12.7 million as they had an insurance policy set to pay if any family members of the group died, thus causing show cancellations.
The insurance company disputes the claim, noting that Scott may have been suffering from a pre-existing mental condition, invalidating the policy.
According to docs filed, Jagger was "diagnosed as suffering from acute traumatic stress disorder" after Scott's death. Doctors subsequently ordered him against playing for 30 days.
At the end of last month, the Stones resumed the dates Down Under.
