Neil Diamond recently returned to his alma mater and played a few of his classic songs.
Originally from Brooklyn, Diamond took the stage at Erasmus Hall High School in Flatbush, performing an array of songs, which included "Solitary Man," "Love on the Rocks."
During his performance he told some old high school stories about being sent to detention.
"The memories are flooding in tonight," he said before playing "Brooklyn Roads." "I drive people crazy when I come back here because I remember every building. I used to shine shoes at that subway station.
It was a great gig — no future in it, but a great gig for a kid."
Other famous people who went to Erasmus Hall High School include Barbra Streisand, Mae West and Marky Ramone.
