Cream's entire studio catalog will soon see a reissue on vinyl thanks to the Cream 1966-1972 set - a new six-LP box that collects the band's live and studio output.

The box set collects all four of the band's studio albums along with two live offerings. It will be released on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl and comes in a rigid slipcase.

"Cream 1966-1972 traces the rise and fall of the jam-friendly power trio, which brought Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce together for a tumultuous brief run before splintering due to tension between band members," the press release reads.

"They've reunited periodically over the years, most recently for a series of shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2005, but this box rightly focuses on their original work."

Cream 1966-1972 will be released November 24.
