David Gilmour says that The Endless River will be the last album from Pink Floyd. Speaking with BBC 6 Music, Gilmour shut the door on a possible follow up.

"This is the last thing that'll be out from us . . . I'm pretty certain that there will not be a follow-up to this."

He added that the death of keyboardist Rick Wright closed the door on new material, and spoke further on his talent.

"He has been underestimated by the public, by the media and by us at times I hate to say.

I didn't necessarily always give him his proper due. People have very different attitudes to the way they work and we can become very judgmental and think someone is not quite pulling his weight enough, without realising that theirs is a different weight to pull."

The Endless River, an 18-track effort recorded during the sessions to the band's 1993 album, The Division Bell, hits November 10.
