Former Journey singer Steve Perry showed up at the San Francisco Giants playoff game on October 6 to lead the crowd through "Don't Stop Believing."

The song wasn't enough to lift the Giants over the visiting Washington Nationals.

Speaking on his relationship with the Giants, Perry has previously said he's got a strong connection to the team.

"I can't put into words what the Giants have done for me emotionally.

It's beyond words. In a lot of ways, they've saved me and they've gotten me back into music, to be perfectly honest with you.

They touched me in a way that made me excited about music again."
