The Rolling Stones studio receipt for recording "Wild Horses" and "Brown Sugar" has surfaced.
The cuts are taken from the band's 1971 album Sticky Fingers, and were recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Sheffield, Alabama.
The receipt charges the band for 13.5 hours of studio time, three reels of one-inch tape, one role of quarter-inch tape, and three five-inch empty reels. The total cost was about $1,000.
The cost is charged to ABKCO, the company founded by Allen B. Klein, who was the manager of the Stones at the time.
Several artists would go on to record at the now famous Muscle Shoals facility, including Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
