Rod Stewart is apparently not worried about a pending lawsuit against him claiming that he broke a fan's nose with a football, telling reporters of his live show, "Yeah, well, it's a contact sport."
Mostafa Kashe is suing Stewart, claiming he was injured at a concert in Las Vegas.
The New York Post reports that a performance at Caesar's Palace in October 2012 included Stewart kicking soccer balls out into the audience with one hitting the man in the face and breaking his nose.
In court papers, Kashe states that the ball was kicked with "sufficient force so as to potentially injure patrons."
He has filed a suit against both Stewart and his promoter, at Clark County Court in Nevada.
"Stewart has significant experience in the sport of soccer and experience in kicking soccer balls, having previously tried out for a professional soccer team in the U.K. and regularly playing in amateur soccer leagues since his youth," the complaint said.
Kashe is seeking damages for lost wages, attorney's fees, and cosmetic damages.
