A new George Harrison box set entitled George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75, which features the former Beatle's first six solo albums, will be released on September 23. All six albums will also be available individually.

George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75 features 1968's Wonderwall Music, Electronic Sound, Harrison's 1970 six times platinum album All Things Must Pass and 1973's Living In The Material World, as well as 1974's Dark Horse and 1975's Extra Texture.

Also included will be a DVD of music videos, a new seven-minute film featuring previously unreleased footage, a book of essays and previously unpublished photos and an introduction by Harrison's son Dhani.

Wonderwall Music, Living in the Material World, Dark Horse and Extra Texture are all expanded with previously unreleased and rare tracks, while All Things Must Pass includes the five bonus tracks added to the 2001 reissue of the album.
