Paul McCartney played a concert in Missoula, Montana on Monday, August 4, wowing a crowd of 25,000 with the first concert ever by a Beatle in the state. The concert was also the largest in the history of the state.

"The jacket's coming off early," said Macca after the second song of the night.

"And that's going to be the only costume change of the night." He would go on to play for another two hours and change.

The concert was the talk of the town, with even mayor John Engen chiming in beforehand:

"It's exciting to have an artist of this magnitude visit Missoula. We hope he has a good time here, and we know we will enjoy his visit."
Sir Paul is currently on his Out There tour.
