Marianne Faithfull says that she knows who gave Jim Morrison the supply of drugs that he overdosed on in 1971.

Marianne says she was in Paris at the time with her boyfriend, Jean de Breiteuil, who supplied the Lizard King with the fateful heroin.

De Bretuil, she says, went to Jim's apartment, but Faithfull decided not to accompany him.

"I could intuitively feel trouble . . . And he went to see Jim Morrison and killed him," she began.

"I mean I'm sure it was an accident. Poor bastard. The smack was too strong? Yeah. And he died. And I didn't know anything about this.

Anyway, everybody connected to the death of this poor guy is dead now. Except me."
