The remaining members of the Who, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, have teamed up to bring U.K. viewers the Mods and Rockers TV series.

They teamed up with director Simon West who tapped Daltrey and Townshend for their knowledge of the 1960s era.
"We're not remaking Quadrophenia but it's that kind of world," he began.

"It will cover the rockers side of the story and spills out into the wider world of swinging '60s London, taking in gangsters, music and fashion," promised West.

"The two tribes will be at the heart of it."

Mods and Rockers is planned to get eight one-hour episodes. No network has been attached to the project yet.
