Brian Jones biographer, Terry Rawlings, has repeated claims made in his 1994 book, Brian Jones: Who Killed Christopher Robin, that Rolling Stone co-founder was murdered.

In an interview, Rawlings says that Jones "was definitely murdered and there was a cover-up."

Jones drowned in his pool on July 3, a few weeks after being fired from the band.

Rawlings says that Jones was killed by workers at his house, while Tom Keylock, a Stones attendant, organized the cover up.

Keylock died in 2009, admitting a year earlier that he was at Jones' farm at the time of his death; Keylock previously said that he'd been away at the time of the death.

Rawlings accuses a contractor named Frank Thorogood of murdering Jones after an argument turned sour while the two were swimming.

"It was me that did Brian. I just finally snapped," Thorogood allegedly confessed to Keylock on his deathbed in 1993.
