The President's Trophy Inter-School Knockout Rugby Tournament starts today (11), following an official press conference held in Colombo to brief the public on the upcoming season.

16 of the country’s leading rugby schools participate in this year's competition, which effectively ushers in the school rugby spring season. The tournament will run until April 4, with the highly anticipated grand finale scheduled to take place at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.

 Hiru Media Network, including Hiru FM and Sun FM, provides official radio media sponsorship for the knockout tournament once again. Organisers have finalised all arrangements for the event, which concludes with the final match on April 4.
