The black hat worn by Margaret Hamilton in “The Wizard of Oz” is one of the few items up for auction next month.

Heritage Auctions will hold its second “Wizard of Oz” themed auction on Dec. 9 – 10 as part of its Hollywood & Entertainment Signature Auction in Dallas. Titled “Return to Oz,” this year’s auction will also include Dorothy’s blue dress worn by Judy Garland, a handwritten letter from “Oz” novelist Frank L. Baum, a copy of the book signed by the entire cast, and more memorabilia from Victor Fleming’s seminal 1939 fantasy film.

Last year, Hertiage’s first “Wizard of Oz” auction broke the record for the highest price ever paid for a piece of Hollywood memorabilia, when the film’s Ruby Slippers sold for $32.5 million.
