Pictured here is Carrie Fisher, widely adored as Princess Leia and celebrated as an author. But outside of her career, she had quite an interesting personal life full of many star-studded romances. She married the musician Paul Simon, (pictured here) in 1983 and they were divorced a year later. Certainly not the shortest Hollywood marriage, but still pretty impressive. The romance between them lasted several years, but they fought too much to make a marriage work. They dated after their divorce, as Fisher explained it, “We were together for more than 12 years (off and on) and we traveled a lot. The last place we went to was the Amazon, which I recommend if you like mosquitoes.”
